Eco Granja activities
These are a series of activities that you can enjoy when booking at Eco Granja Don Lolo. All are free and must be coordinated in advance.
Farm Tour
Personal Tour of approximately 1 hour along paths where the orchard, the chicken coop, dairy, living and forest protection areas are visited.
Sowing and maintenance in the garden
It is done on Tuesday from 8 am, you learn to form a bed, how organic fertilizer is made, how to clean and sow.
Milking and cheese tour
They are made every day from 6am milking and cheese making from 7am, a variety of artisan cheeses are prepared among them: mozzarella, ricotta, gouda, palm heart and more.
Preparation of succulent terrariums
They are carried out on Saturday and Sunday; In the nursery Doña Elsa you will find a variety of succulents with which you can work wonders.
Juan Castro Blanco National Water Park
It is 10 km away in 4x4. Visiting this cloud forest is lovely, the big trees and sounds of nature will embrace you, you can see waterfalls, green lagoons and springs.
Arenal Volcano National Park
It is located at 50 km approx. Colossus its almost perfect cone, wildlife abounds, hot springs and adventure activities.
La Palmera and thermal water
It is 15 km approx. In this district you can find a lot of thermo mineral waters.
Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
It is located at 100 km approx. Exceptional place for bird and reptile watching and sport fishing.
